What is "Blogging from A to Z"?

"Blogging from A to Z", also known as "April A to Z" is a month-long blogging challenge, started by Arlee Bird (http://tossingitout.blogspot.com/) in April 2010.

The participants of this challenge have to write 26 posts in the month of April, the four Sundays being "off". And, as the name of the challenge suggests, the first post has to be on a topic/word that starts with the alphabet 'A', the second with the alphabet 'B', and so on.

Bloggers from all over the world participate in this challenge every year in April. Some write creative stuff like poems or short stories every day. Those who have photo-blogs or art blogs or recipe blogs choose to post on the specific letters of the day, while remaining consistent with their respective blog niche.

What style we choose to write in is totally up to us. Moreover, these 26 posts can be completely random, or they could be around a single theme.

"Blogging from A to Z" Challenge is a great way to connect with new bloggers from around the world and get a boost in your blog traffic for the month. Naturally, you also tend to retain some of those new found blog readers after the challenge is over.

So far, I have attempted the "April A to Z" Challenge TWO times here, and successfully completed it ONCE. Here are the link for them:

  1. 2015 : A to Z of Blogging
  2. 2016 : A to Z of Happiness (Incomplete)

I will update this page as and when I complete further rounds of the "April A to Z" Challenge.
