Empty Playground: Photo A Day - From Above

Day 15 of "June Photo A Day Challenge" : From Above

The empty playground of my building... from the 7th floor.

It's not so empty in the evening though. Far from it, in fact. The noise level from that same playground, in the evening, is so high that you can hear it all the way up to the 7th floor! :D

This is my 15th post for 2013 June Photo A Day Challenge.

Shilpa, thankfully I don't have a park-facing flat at the moment, but the one we've purchased does have a park view! And it's on the 2nd floor! Don't know what got into my head that I booked a park-facing flat on 2nd floor!

Lovely view. You know, theoretically when you go for booking, they charge extra for amenity facing flats but now when I am living in one, I realize that the one facing the road is much livelier. The amenity facing flats have only a single view while there is always so much to watch when you can see the roads from your place. My next-door neighbour-friend has that view and I love it. It is much more interesting when you have nothing to do.

I agree, Reema... road-side balconies provide good entertainment. But if those roads become active, as in too much traffic, they get very noisy. We used to hear non-stop honks from 5 am till past midnight, back in Patna. Plus, if it's a newly developing area, there's no way of knowing what kind of construction might come up on the other side of the road. Or if it might become a dumping ground for the colony's garbage!

In Patna, the owners of the house across the lane became the local distributor of something, and they converted part of their house into an illegal storage facility. Transport trucks used to visit them at like 2 am or so, almost every week, and start unloading goods at that ungodly hour! Needless to say, we spent many sleepless nights in that place!
