30 Days of Me: The Old Me...

Day 5 of "30 Days of Me"
A photo of yourself two years ago.

This one was by far the toughest post to do. I searched through my entire hard drive. And I could barely find any pictures taken in 2009. There was that group photo of course, of the "Sanki Six!". But that's already been posted on this blog once. So I wanted to use a different one this time. Eventually, after much digging, I found this one.

This photograph was taken on October 2nd, 2009, when my sweetheart, Yuvraj, paid me a surprise visit. You can see him sitting next to me, pointing his little chubby finger at my sister's laptop. Oh and since this was a totally candid shot, and I got no time to even pull down my hair or grab a dupatta, I look like a total mess here. But then, this is what I usually look like at home... especially in summers! (Actually... now that I think of it... I look even worse in winters!)

So anyways, UV is all excited these days about my sister's wedding. He's going to be the 'Vinayak', so he got a cool new "sherwani-churidaar" that he'll wear in the "Ganesh Puja" and then at the wedding function. And he's also seen all the engagement pics several times, and apparently taken an inexplicable fancy to his new "phuphaji"... so much so that he's already called up his new "phuphaji" couple of times, on his own, and informed him of his day's mischiefs with pride! Kids! Funny creatures!

This is my fifth post for NaBloPoMo September 2011.
