Why Haven't I Blogged For Two Months?

There I was, doing the A to Z challenge in April. Then I announced I wouldn't do it as a daily blog challenge. And then I completely disappeared from this space. You guys must have been wondering what happened to me.

Well.

The physiotherapy (refer to this post if you have forgotten) didn't go well. I was started on a new set of exercises, which severely aggravated the pain, until I couldn't take it anymore and changed my physiotherapist.

The good news is that this guy seems to know what he's doing. He's taking it slowly and is able to release any pain during the session with him every alternate day. The bad news is that I am now doing one-hour routines of physiotherapy four times a day.

So, obviously, blogging has taken a backseat.

Have you ever thought about this? It takes just a moment to get hurt, but then it takes months to heal from it! And then there are always some wounds that never get healed...

So much for today, folks. See you when I see you...

Good to see you getting better. Never thought it would be so bad. How are you managing the store?

Dear Kadambari, sad about the extended hours of physio but good about the relief that is bringing you. So true about hurt and healing and the varying time each takes. Hugs and be well soon.

Eeek! I hope that your new physiotherapy routine continues to make an improvement with your pain. It is certainly very frustrating to have a slow recovery for an injury, but even worse when the recovery feels like it is going backwards! Taking care of yourself is certainly the first priority.

Hi Lata! Even I didn't realize at the time of injury that it was so bad! :(
The store is okay... summer hols are going on, so I open it at 5pm these days. The difficult part is managing the household chores along with the physio sessions. Dragging along somehow!

Thank you, Sunila! I could do with the hugs. Last 3-4 days have been extra painful! :(

Tracy, the pain will reduce as the injured muscles get stronger. So regular physio will help in that. But it will take a while to regain full mobility.

That's terrible. Hope you get completely well soon. Oh yes, I've actually pondered that so often. It takes so little for things to go bad suddenly.

So true, Rachna. One moment, I was fine, and then the very next moment... doubled up in agony! It's crazy!

It is, Raji... very painful :(
Thanks for the hugs! Keep sending them! :)

Thanks Princess! I am not sure... I have been a little disconnected with worldly things. Did you email it to me? Let me check my inbox.

Thank you, Mayuri! :)

This sounds terrible! I do hope the new therapy works better. I cannot imagine the pain you must be undergoing :( Hugs and hope you feel loads better very soon.

Thank you, Shailaja. So far, it looks like it's working. It's not as painful now as it was when I was with the other physiotherapist.

Do take care! Physiotherapy can take away a lot of time, but recover properly and soon.. and then get blogging with gusto! :D
