Paper Napkin Flowers: Photo A Day - Paper

Day 5 of "May Photo A Day Challenge" : Paper

It wasn't easy deciding what to blog about for today's topic. "Paper" gives so much scope for creativity. You could post pictures of paintings and sketches on paper, origami and paper quilling, paper mache, paper collage, bookmarks, paper flowers, paper party decor, paper jewellery...! One of the participants even posted a picture of a female mannequin dressed in a paper outfit! With such limitless possibilities, I finally decided to settle on these photographs of some handmade paper napkin flowers. (Please click on the image to view in full-size.)

I originally published them on my other blog - KraftyFingers. So I've left the same watermark in the photographs. I made these paper dahlias in July last year, and they're still hanging in my bedroom, although they're quite faded and disheveled now! LOL!

The only materials, that were needed to make these flowers, were paper napkins, some string and a pair of scissors. If you'd like to give them a shot, here's a step-by-step tutorial - "How to Make Paper Napkin Dahlias?"

This is my fifth post for 2013 May Photo A Day Challenge.
