'Love' Vs. 'Relationships'

A quick post here...

Just want to share something Shobhit (of 'Mindzpeak') has written @ http://mindzpeak.blogspot.com/2009/09/decision-or-emotion.html...

I couldn't have written it with more clarity and precision, if I were to write about this! Especially the following lines...

"Can a dream career/ fame/ big pay-package take preference over love in one’s life? It can’t… ! And if it does, it is not love. It is just a relationship. Because love can never be a hindrance to any dream. In fact, it is a great motivating factor towards any achievement a person dreams of. One can break-up a relationship. But one can never break-up love."

In short... you CANNOT *love* with your *brain*!

Since Shobhit has already covered it all up so nicely, I don't need to add anything else for a change! :D

Kaddu, i have a doubt. What is love? Do animals love? do a cock love a hen? Do a he-cat love a she-cat?

Or is it only for humans? Is it an invention of humans?

I just know that Lust is universal. A he-cat lusts for a she-cat when in heat. same in the case of cock and hen....but i doubt its the same in the case of humans.....I know i have vague doubts...but doubts they are.

Thanks Kaddu for the encouragement. :) And for suggesting to watch the movie too. :p

Ummmm! Well I wasn't really talking about lust in my post. Most "relationships" in India are still without sex as a part of the parcel... at least in non-metro towns.

As for animals... well I don't know about that dude. Animals definitely DO know how to love, for there have been lots of incidents where an animal gave its life to save its owner! Even Maharana Pratap's horse 'Chetak' was one such animal! Surely its 'brain' wouldn't have suggested that horse to embrace death for someone else!

Apart from that... animals don't do a lot of things that humans do. For instance, they don't watch TV, or go to work and earn money... or build a 5-room apartment for just 2 occupants...

The list could go on & on! I guess humans were made different from animals... that's why they are called humans and not animals. But, of course, if some guys like to live like animals... then it's totally their wish! You and I, we can't do anything about them, right! :D

Hey nice post.. so meaningful.. @ZB: Love has nothing to do with Lust.. love is about liking a person as a whole, not just one thing about that person..
