This one is my all-time favorite! When it was freshly introduced to the Indian puzzle-lovers, I used to do it daily in all the newspapers I could get my hands on! I remember I was in Mumbai for a friends wedding, back in November 2005, and his brother enjoyed doing Sudoku as much as I did! LOL! It was a daily competition between us as to who would get hold of the day's newspaper first! :-p

Well, I'm sure all of you must already know the rules of this game, but just in case, there's a newbie in the block...

You've got the fill the numbers in the empty cells in such a way that each row (horizontal), each column (vertical), and each individual '9 x 9' box (enclosed within the bold border) contains all the numbers from 1 to 9... ONCE EACH! Obviously, if you repeat any number, you're sure to miss out on some other number then!

Have fun then! Oh and you can change the difficulty level from the drop-down given below the board!

And here's more in Games!

I, too, got addicted to 'Sudoku' when it first appeared in the newspapers a few years back.

And soon, more than half of my class would be busy solving the puzzle right there in the lecture theatre while our Professors would be busy describing the important details of some disease. Too bad they didn't know about the 'Sudoku disease' epidemic.... :p

And the best bit was when our Professor of Surgery pointed out to one of my friends sitting next to me to answer a question. And the poor guy was so involved in the '9X9 square' that he hadn't even heard what the question was. Devils as they all were, no one even prompted in hushed voices what the question was.... let alone the correct answer. :D

Well... someone would have prompted the question only if he'd heard it himself in the first plc! And as you said, everybody was busy playing sudoku! So... :-p
